On Tuesday 6 Blue were very fortunate to have Mike the Potter come into school. With his help the children made some beautiful pots.

When Mike the potter came in to work with us it was very exciting as we got to actually make our own pots.I made a long,pink flower-pot for my house!Thankyou so much Mike and Miss Francis I had a great day.
They are nice but how do they compare to 6 Green's...
When i was doing my pot i wanted to make a volcano. When it was done there was a little mistake one of the sides had a lump but mike said it was ok JOSEPH
When Mike Potter came in and told us some of the things about making a pot it was intresting.Then when he made his own when he was showing us the way he did it and the way he put the colors on looked realy COOL! I enjoyed making the pots and I think evrybody else did too.They all looked wonderfull.
Well it was fun makeing pots I absolutely love making pots now. I made a gull bowl (a bird gull). It was that fun that I would be able to do it over and over agian .Thank you Mike for coming in it was a great pleasure metting you.
When made our pots it was really fun and interesting because I had never done anything like that before I made a mountain and I think that all of the pots look really good
When i found we were doing our pots i was so excited it was so fun when we were doing it everone enjoyed it once we had designed them.

Doing pottery was easy Mike was helpihg all of us do it.I made an cherry. You can do lots of things like: tornado,fruits,tires,lady birds.When it was spinning we used paint to make it look much nicer.I used red paint for the outside colour and in the inside I used red and white to make pink. I also used green to make it look more of a cheery than a apple.Lots of children mixed diffrent colours to make it multi-coloured.We all injoyed making it I hope we do it in Secondry school.
We hope year6 had fun makeing them lovely bowls.
